26

As I grow older time seem to passed by really fast. I don't know how am I 26 already!? How is this happened? I still don't want to believe the number until recently I started to notice these fine line under my eyes, it make me realize that this aging things is happening. It kinda part of growing old, right?
But wait! 26 is not that much of number, isn't it? I'm on my late adolescent and early adult state.
Now I started to hear Britney's song pounding in my head...I'm not a girl.....not yet a woman....

Ok, now let's talk about the passed year, the 25th year. Well, it'd been a tough but also a good year.
It's kinda a big crossroad to me (again Britney's song/movie, LOL)

I had a worst time ever at the middle of the year. It so terrible that I had to make a choice about my future.
And I did made a choice, and it comes out fine. I decided to become a Emergency Physician.
At first it kinda my ticket out of this terrible workplace. But then i realize being an EP is also the right choice to me. It seem to suit me well. And after 3 yrs of study I could go back to my hometown. After being Gypsy moving from places to places in the past 7 years.

The past year I've been travel a lot, which's nice. I've enough money to buy stuff I wanted, which's awesome. I have more holiday than I ever had in my life, which's great.
I'm still single until now. But I've been single for so long that it doesn't seem to be a problem ti me anymore.
Actually,I'm quite enjoy being single. I feel free. I only feel lonely sometimes. I've said this quote once.
" When you're single, life's all yours but 2 is definitely better than 1" And I still believe that.
I hope I could fine that guy some day. That guy who turn my world upside down.

Review: Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream spf42 (No.23)

What it is: The M Perfect Cover BB Cream makes your skin tone clean and natural by concealing blemishes with excellent skin coverage. It is a multi functional makeup cream with blocking UV rays, whitening and wrinkle care effects and simplifies makeup formalities. Its moisturized application with sleek W/S texture makes sleek skintone by supplying moisture and nutrition at the same time.

My experiance:
I bought it after heard all the hype everywhere on the internet. I'm sorry to say that I don't like it as much as other does. The consistency is very thick and feel very heavy on my skin. The coverage is full like a foundation and it tend to make my face look cakey during the day. Its scent also overwhleming, strong floral scent which I hate. The only good thing I found is the sunscreen property is enough to wear on its own, since I never get sunburn while wearing this BB cream. Overall it's a terrible BB cream to me. I couldn't even finish the bottle.

Review: Clinique All About Eyes Rich

I've just ran out of my beloved eye cream of the moment, Clinique All About Eyes Rich.
So it's time for me to do a review.

What it is:Moisture-rich eye cream diminishes the look of undereye circles, shadows, fine lines-instantly and over time. De-puffs, calms with botanicals. Helps boost natural collagen production. Strengthens skin's moisture barrier against common irritants. Ophthalmologist Tested.

My experiance:
What can I say...It's perfect eye cream for me! I even considered repurchase this when I finish my current sample of The balm eye cream (which so far has done nothing for me). I love the texture of it since It's thick enough to moisturized my dry skin around the eye. with out causing milia like other oily eye cream does.

Well, let me say that I have the most stubborn and troubled skin ever!
I have oily and acne prone T-zone, my cheek tend to get a little dry. and I also have dry skin around my eye with under eye circle.

Back to the eye cream It keep my under eye moisturize and look great I don't have any wrinkle yet. So it work as kind of a prevention. I also notice my dark circle seem diminished after qute a while. For the price I would say it a bargain price, since there're so many much more expensive eye cream that doesn't work like this. All in all if you just want a nice moisturize eye cream to prevent wrinkle I'd highly recommend this one.

Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow

Well, normally I'm quite minimal when it comes to buying makeup, I mean I never go crazy and buying everything from the line before. But this time as you can see I've got 3 from the same line, which say a lot
These product are super amazing! I only got the neutral shades from the line through. Because that's all I wear in my everyday basis. Here I have...
Bad to the bronze: it's the 1st and the begining of the latter two
Barely Branded: I heard it's a dupe for MAC bare study, I don't know about that but It's to die for!
Tough as taupe: It's become favourite of many beauty guru online, and I saw a makeup video backstage using this and I'm sold.
They never crease on me, they offer amazing color, they are easy to blend.
Let me say again...They're perfect!

Review: La Roche-Posay UVIDEA XL SPF 50 PA+++ BB cream

I don't know about you guys, but my beauty stuffs seem to run out all at the same time.
I finished a lot of BB cream recently which is almost never happened before.
Today I've gone through my last drop of  La Roche-Posay UVIDEA XL SPF 50 PA+++ BB cream.
So here's the review...

What it is:
Prevents hyperpigmentation and aging induced by UV. Contains La Roche-Posay thermal spring water, with soothing and anti-oxidant properties.

Results: Skin is hydrated, comfortable and protected from UV-induced brown spots, fine lines and darkening. Immediately, blemishes visibly fade out, complexion is long-lastingly unified for a fairer, healthier and more radiant skin.

Use this all-year round. Apply every morning at the end of the skincare routine

My experiance:
It seem like the perfect BB cream for me at first. Since SPF is what really matter for me.
I do believe in wearing sunscreen everyday. And this has done a serious business on SPF by giving a SPF 50 PA+++ for me it the best protection you'll ever give to your face. I never get sunburn with this on.
But the thing with this high SPF is it tend leave white cast when I took photo. And my face seem a little greyish when first apply. I need to set it with powder foundation or setting powder to make the color match me better.

About texture I've mixed feeling about it. Because I first got it in winter and it work just fine.
But in this hot humid weather it feel greasy on the skin since first apply and after couple hours It melt off my face. which is not cool at all. Bad Bad Bad...

Review: Benefit You Rebel Tinted spf 15

What it is:  benefit you rebel is our defiantly different tinted moisturizer.
Will leave your complexion healthy & protected with a hint of color.
they have even thrown in antioxidants, aloe vera & allantoin for soft, supple skin all year long.

My experience: Benefit you rebel tinted has a bronzey tinted to it. Which is quite too dark for my fair asian yellow skin (NC15). But if you want too add a little color to your face, this is the perfect thing for you. As for me I kind of enjoy it once in a while when I want a sexy tanned  look.
This product come with SPF15 which's quite too little for me. I'm quite serious about wearing sunscreen everyday and I're prefer SPF 25 or over.

About texture, it apply smoothly and work well on its own. On my oily-combination skin It leave a little sheen so I've to finish up with powder on top. Anyways this is not an oil control type base by any means, still it doesn't make me look oilier than I actually am.
It give a very sheer coverage, so if you have any imperfection you'll need concealer.

As for me I can use only this tinted moisturize and a touch of powder and I'm good to go.
Overall, it's great product for busy lifestyle ladies who doesn't need much coverage.
I enjoy it enough to finish the bottle but next time I'd consider the lighter version.

Review: Minus-Sol Facial Sun Protection SPF 30+

What it is: Minus-Sol is a unique product providing high protection against the skin damage caused from UVA and UVB rays. It is a free formulation that contains as inactive ingredient, enhanced chitosan which rezults in a smooth silky feeling. Minus-Sol retains its SPF after 80 minutes of activity in water.

My Experience: It's a silicone based sunscreen with ivory tinted that help even out my skintone a little. It apply smoothly and act nicely as a makeup base for me.  I can apply only this and finish with pressed powder on top and I'm good to go. Or if I want to wear foundation, this's still a good base It help foundation apply smoothly with out leaving a white cast.
The only downside is after 4-5 hrs my face feel greasy and look oily like all other silicone based product does.

Review: Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream #3 sheer flawless skin

I've always been a tinted moisturizer and BB cream person than a foundation maniac. Since my overall skin is in quite a good condition. I have some acne scaring sometimes but that the concealer job, right?

This time I'm doing a review on Etude House Precious Mineral All Day Strong BB Cream #3 sheer flawless skin. I'm not sure about the different in 3 shades. Since some say that 1 is the lightest and 3 is the darkest, but the product description say #1 Sheer Silky Skin, #2 Sheer Glowing Skin, #3 Sheer Flawless Skin.
So I guess the formulation may be varies among all 3 shades too.

What it is: Precious Mineral BB Cream promotes silky complexion and brightened look with pearl infused sheer coverage. Improved SPF protection with a hypoallergenic and oil-free formula.

My Experience: This BB cream give almost a full coverage. It's much more than I'd expect from a BB cream to be. I don't even need concealor when using this. The texure is quite runny and very easy to blend.  But after a few minutes it look cakey on my oily-combination skin. I need to touch up twice during the day which is uncool. Since I tend to be super busy all day that I don't even have time for touch up.
One thing I notice after using this for a while, it clog my pores badly. I got more and more spot eveytime I use it.
Overall it's a good BB cream for dry skin or winter season when your skin turn toward dryer side.
It's very easy to apply. give good coverage. But I'd not buying this again. It's just not for my oily- combination skin. And since it clog my pores badly I ended up give it away.

Review: Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer

I've been primer and foundation mania recently. I try quite a bit of face products.
Now It's time for me to do a review on "Benefit That Gal". Well, this has been out on the marget for a very long time but I thought this wouldn't worked for me since I have oily skin and I always stick with "Oil-controlled" product.

What it is: Its a silky pink primer that makes skin appear smoother and brighter. Wear alone for clear complexion radiance or apply before makeup for smooth, effortless application. Re-brighten during the day with that gal. It's "that gal" perfection for a happy complexion.

My Experience: It's a pink color makeup base that does really help brighten my complexion. I love how it smell too, light floral scent. It apply smoothly and doesn't leave any greasy feeling.

Even through it doesn't claim oil-controll effect but I found it help my makeup last longer.
I still look fresh at the end of the day. Overall I'm impressed with this product and would consider buying this again in the future.

The only down side I found is it doesn't contain sunscreen effect which is my everyday essential, so I have to apply sunscreen after applying this primer.

My Skincare Routine in Air-conditioned room

Due to global warming and climate change,  I have to live my life in air-conditioned room. And It cause my skin so much dryness. I used to have quite oily-combination skin. Now my skin is dry and flaky. Here's what I do to keep my skin as healthy as possible.

For face I use:
  • Biore cleansing milk (my HG cleanser)
  • Aveeno Positively Ageless Daily Exfoliating Cleanser (perfect for dry skin, my skin feel smooth after use)
  • Olay White radiance serum (not moisturizing enough but I feel my skin has whiten a bit after half bottle gone)
  • Skinfood facial water vita-c cream (perfect for combination skin, enough moisturizing doesn't leave skin oily)

For eyes I use
  • Clinique All About Eye Rich (great for aging and dryness around eyes area, love this)

For Body I use:
  • Yves Rocher Pur Desir de Pivoine Perfumed Body Lotion ( leave a dewy finish to skin with out any glitter, smell so nice)
  • Yves Rocher Pur Desir de Pivoine Shower Gel (still leave some moisture on my skin, smell nice)
  • Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub (smell yummy, get all the flake away)

Review: ZA TOTAL HYDRATION BB CREAM UV. SPF43 PA+++

What it isMulti-functional ”12 in 1”BB CREAM that achieves healthy glowing look. With special skincare mineral formula, it not only moisturizes skin but also works as foundation to conceal skin problems to achieve a healthy skin tone.

My  Experience: Since I have oily-combination skin and I live in climate area. I try to stay away from product that say "Hydration" and "Glowing" as far as I can. And this time apparently I made a mistake. I should have stayed away. This BB cream give you all that it claim to be hydrating and give you a glowing finish when mix in with my oily skin give the result of  oil-slicked effect on my face after only half an hour. About good part the formulation is nice, creamy and very easy to apply. It give a medium coverage and still look like you naturally have great skin which I like.So this is  definitely not for all oily skinned girls out there. If you have dry skin or you love glowing, dewy finish. I'm sure you'll love this product.

1st Haul of 2013

Happy New Year! It's my new year haul today. It's been quite a while since I do my last haul. Since I grow older and my career don't allow me to wear funky makeup anymore. Everything here seem to be office friendly, neutral makeup.

From NYX I got...
NYX soft matte lip cream #Milan and #Amsterdam ( they're super long lasting and don't leave stain on glass nor everybody's else cheeks which is what I like, but make sure you moisturize lips well, cuz it may feel a little too drying)

NYX mega shine lip gloss #beige it's the most beautiful lipgloss I ever found, pink but still look natural

NYX matte lipstick #perfect red
It's really a perfect red for me, blue-based-red, so classic, so elegant, feel very comfortable on the lips

NYX powder blush #muave
this is a more brownish peach shade look like you have naturally burnt by the sun, it's also long lasting.

Overall I really happy with my NYX purchase.

On to Revlon

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for oily/combination skin #golden beige everybody rave about this as their HG foundation, I have to say it live up the hype, long lasating and full cover.

Revlon nail color #classy and base coat for me Revlon make the best nail polish of all drugstore brand. I also got #Grey suede later which is a bit like Tickle my Francey.

And last thing from Revlon is their eyebrow liner (since I'm out of my old eyebrow liner last week so I decided to try this one, the shade seem natural looking on me)

The balm Balm-Jovi palette (this is the most perfect palette I ever come across, I heard good things about the mary-lou-manizer and frat boy which are included in this palette! And all the eyeshadow, lips are in shades that I could use in my daily life. So yay! For this palette)

My Winter 2012 Skincare Routine

Surprisingly Thailand has got winter, even through it's not snowing but weather gets dryer and a little colder like 15-20 celsius degree. My skin gets dry and patchy during this time of the year. It's time to change skincare routine again.

1.) I clean my makeup using Boots botanic skin brightening cleanser ( it's thick and moisturizing and smell nice)
2.) I wash my face with Ipsa cleansing smooth foam ( leave a smooth soft skin, nice orange scent)
3.) In morning, I use Boots time-delay post micro-dermabrasion facialmoisturizer spf15 ( I'm so in love with this, it's moisturizing and leave my skin so soft and nice, non-greasy) Then, I apply my makeup.
4.) in evening, after washed my face I use Rose Hip oil apply all over my face including eye area ( I wake up with nice smooth skin every morning, It's a miracle product to all dry-skin girls)
5.) I use Clinique all about eye rich as eye cream since my good old Kiel's avocado eye cream is not moisturizing enough.
6.) Sometimes when I need to exfoliate I use Boots time-delay micro-dermabrasion facial exfoliator ( this's quite harsh to the skin so make sure you only use it once a week, but it does clarified skin well)
7.) For lips, I use the face shop Plus 1 lip care cream - shea butter ( It's the most moisturing lip balm in the whole world, no chap lips here)

That's it for my skincare routine, everthing seem to come in small size here since normally I have oily-combination skin so most of the time these products are too much, too oily for me.
